Long time, no visuals. Sorry to have been so quiet of late, but I've been developing new addictions. Anyone else here play World of Warcraft? Any poets, performers, writers or fans?
In chronological order:
Nov. 3rd is First Friday, the monthly Arts District festival. This month is very special to me, since it is the bibliophile's holiday known as the Vegas Valley Bookfest. There will be authors, artists, performers, vendors and yours truly, with D'Anna Price, performing together on the Poet's Stage, next to the CityLife booth on Colorado Ave at 7pm. Park on 3rd Street off Charleston for best access, or at Government Center and grab the free trolley to the Arts District.
Sat., Nov. 4th, at 2pm, and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month thereafter, I'll be teaching a new series of performance workshops called "Sound Out". Designed for poets, comics, actors, singers and songwriters, we'll work on polishing your presentation skills, so that your art will shine like the Neon Galaxy. The workshops are being held at It's a Grind Coffee House, 3130 E. Sunset Blvd. on the north side of Sunset, between Pecos and Eastern. These workshops are free, though donations happily accepted to replace my PA equipment ,which was stolen last year, along with sweetie's car.
On Sat., Nov. 18th, we will have our monthly Game Night at Screwballs. They love us there and the crowd has been averaging about 20 folks, but there's room for twice that, so please come join us.
That's all for now, lovies, but there have been a number of house parties, movie nights, free and cheap tickets to shows, and even a comped trip to the Fantasy and Fetish Ball, but if we don't know you, we can't invite you. So show up and make some friends.
